These aren’t boring nude eyeshadows and glosses that just disappear into the skin upon application. I think it’s because of the shimmer involved. Normally I like a little more color in my life, but this collection spoke to me right away. Interestingly I was SO interested in this when I first saw promo shots, which is very much unlike me. It features a variety of new (and some old) products that span the shimmery nude/pink/peach color range.

Overall a fantastic and a must have paint pot in my opinion! MAC Layin' Low Paint Pot is available across all MAC counters and retails for 1450/- for 5g.MAC Cham Pale has entered the building! Cham Pale is a new fairly large-ish collection (though nothing compared to Venomous Villains) for winter 2011. Once it dries it does not budge at all! Works fantastic as a base for neutral eye looks and keeps the eyeshadows from creasing making them last whole day! The only thing would be if you have very dry eyelids an eye cream is a must before using this one as it settles to a matte finish! The texture is creamy and completely matte! It applies smoothly on eyelids however it does tend to dry pretty fast so one has to work pretty quick in terms of blending the shade. To me its definitely more peachy beige rather than only beige! Its much warmer than soft ochre which is yellow and painterly which is more pink! Layin' low is flesh toned beige shade with peach undertones, which makes it the most perfect shade for Indian or tan skin tones! Due to its peach undertones and awesome pigmentation it does cover any hyper pigmentation or darkness on the eye lids quite effectively.

MAC describes Layin' Low as "creamy beige". I always store these upside down as its much easier to find the shades this way and I have heard it helps to keep them from drying as well.

The packaging of pro long wear paint pots are same as their regular paint pots line, they come in a ting glass jar which I quite like and don't find them way too bulky. One of them which I was most excited about was Layin' Low which is a relaunch and was initially launched in 2010 with their Fafi collection!

So when MAC launched their Pro Longwear Paint Pots I was super excited to get my hands on few of them. MAC paint pots need no introduction, they one of the best selling products from MAC and quite worth the rave in my personal opinion.
